A Message From Our State Regent

          Welcome!

On behalf of the members of the North Dakota State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), I welcome you. Explore our website and search the links to individual chapters. You will find email links to contact all state officers and each of the chapters. If you are interested in membership, contact Alice Ellingsberg, our state registrar or you may contact a chapter near you.

The National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, founded October 11, 1890, has more 180,000 members in 3000 chapters across the United States and internationally. We are looking forward to our 125 anniversary in 2015. Since DAR’s founding, more than 850,000 women have traced their lineage to patriots of the American Revolution and have joined DAR.

The DAR is a volunteer service organization for women dedicated to preserving American History, supporting patriotism, service to veterans, and securing American’s future through education for its children.

The North Dakota Daughters membership is 170 women and growing. We welcome your interest in our organization and hope you will consider membership. DAR is open to any women 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background that can prove lineal heritage from the American Revolution. Click to join us. A DAR Daughter will invite you to a meeting and help you begin the application process. I welcome you and hope you will consider joining DAR.
